By design 9mm AR-15 barrels are affordable and come in many sizes, rifle, and pistol. This includes many of the familiar barrel profiles found on standard/common AR-15 platforms. Building an AR-15 chambered in 9mm is a great choice for training, or for your next Pistol Caliber Carbine build.

The Tri lug on this barrel is designed for convenience of mounting a suppressor when all NFA rules applicable are followed.

Material: 4150 CrMoV - Chrome-Moly Vanadium, or simply "CMV", is the official mil-spec gun steel developed by Colt Firearms for the military-issued M16 and M4. It contains the same elements as 4150 steel. It also contains Vanadium. Vanadium significantly increases the strength, hardness, and high-temperature stability of steel.

Finish: Nitriding is a process during manufacturing that diffuses nitrogen into the steel to make a case-hardened surface for improved resistance and strength. A Nitrided barrel typically has a gloss-black texture.

Thread Pitch: 1/2x28 - This threading is commonly found on barrels chambered in 5.56, .223, and .224. This will allow the installation of most muzzle devices such as flash hiders, blast cans, and compensators threaded to 1/2x28 threads.
