Yeah, I was suitably suspect by the price but I'm probably like most folks in that I'm tired of paying hundreds for a chunk of aluminum machined by a CNC and blued just for the privilege of having a light, functional handguard.
I just don't get how it needfully must cost that much.
Enter this variant.
Fit: no probs.
Finish: a proper blue; not purple, not green.
Barrel nut machined such that it didn't allow the rail portion to snug up against the rail on the upper. Kind of a downer...hopefully the machinist will go back and adjust the software...
M-Loks worked liked they're supposed to. And the barrel centered properly out at the end of the sight radius.
On balance a good deal at the price point, two thumbs up.
