The Warden Duty is a 5.56 NATO AR-15 Complete Upper built around a 16-inch carbine-length gas platform. The kit centers on a 16-inch medium profile barrel in 4150 CrMoV steel with a nitride finish, 1:7 twist rate, and 1/2x28 thread pitch, paired with a GI A2 birdcage flash hider and a black 1/2-inch crush washer. A 0.750 gas block and a carbine-length gas tube are included on the front end. The upper receiver is a USA-made 6061 slick side billet design in 6061-T6 aluminum with a Type III Class 2 hardcoat anodized finish and an anti-rotation cutout, paired with a 15-inch freefloat Keymod handguard in aluminum. A USA-made AR-15 complete bolt carrier group in 9310 alloy steel with a nitride finish, compatible with 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, .300 Blackout, and .350 Legend, and a Mil-Spec AR-15 M4 charging handle complete the upper component set.

The slick side design removes the forward assist housing from the upper receiver body for a clean exterior profile. The 15-inch freefloat Keymod handguard is aluminum with Keymod attachment points along the body for accessory mounting. These two components define the exterior structure of the upper assembly on this AR-15 platform.
Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle
