Excellent product. Very impressive. Since Crosshill Technologies went out of business I've been searching for a replacement and this fit the bill perfectly.

Mr
Not exactly what I expected. Had to remove my BAD lever it interfered with left charging handle (more like a knob) and carrier would not cycle. Additionally, you have to use the right charging knob to hold the carrier back and your left hand to set the bolt release. I learned to use the left charging knob to release the bolt, knob will get you if you use the bolt release. Both charging knobs loosened during first firing, apparently NO thread locking was used. Need to remove both knobs to remove carrier, not something you will want to do if in the woods.

We'll See?
I wanted a side charger for a long time so I'm hoping this will work well. I will assemble soon but my initial impressions are not good. I like BAD Levers a lot and looks like that will have to go. These uppers DO NOT HAVE M4 Feed Ramps which should be standard these days. The pictures only show one side so I had no idea there were charging knobs one both sides. I was hoping Ambidextrous meant the knob could be moved to either side. Also, the Bolt Carrier-bolt cylinder channel is not chromed AND the Bolt slides in and out like a grinder. I've never felt one so gritty and rough. You need a wrench to field strip and looks like the charging Knobs will come loose and fly off unless loctited. Maybe these are the trade off's I have to live with if I want a Side Charger?

Needs modified bolt release
You WILL need a modified bolt release. The handle bent mine. I just cut off the paddle. No biggie, they're only about $10 bucks. Otherwise the upper and carrier work well.
