The Black Diamond Series slick side billet aluminum upper receiver made in the USA anchors the front end, along with a .223 and 5.56 ejection port door with rod and spring. The pistol-length gas tube and premium low-profile adjustable gas block at .750 complete the gas system, and the 7-inch freefloat aluminum M-LOK handguard in black covers the forend. An A2 GI Birdcage flash hider in 5-8x24 compatible with .300 Blackout, .308 Winchester, and 7.62x39 closes out the muzzle end. BCG and charging handle are not included.

Upper Receiver and Barrel

The Black Diamond Series slick side billet aluminum upper receiver made in the USA anchors the front end with a clean slick side exterior profile that omits the forward assist and dust cover from the receiver body, giving the upper a streamlined appearance distinct from standard mil-spec upper receivers. The .223 and 5.56 ejection port door with rod and spring is included as part of the upper. The 10.5-inch HBAR profile steel barrel brings a Parkerized finish and a 1-8 twist rate to the .300 AAC Blackout chamber, threaded at 5-8x24. The pistol-length gas tube and premium low-profile adjustable gas block at .750 run a pistol-length gas system along the 10.5-inch barrel, with the adjustable gas block giving the builder precise gas flow control at the block level. The 7-inch freefloat aluminum M-LOK handguard in black surrounds the barrel and gas block along the forend with M-LOK slots along the handguard body for accessory attachment across the full 7-inch length.

Muzzle Device

The A2 GI Birdcage flash hider threads onto the 5-8x24 muzzle end of the barrel and is compatible with .300 Blackout, .308 Winchester, and 7.62x39 at this thread pitch. The included black 5-8-inch crush washer seats at the barrel shoulder and completes the muzzle hardware for this kit.
