The left-handed Black Diamond Series slick side billet aluminum upper receiver anchors the front end with a left-hand ejection port and a clean slick side exterior profile that omits the forward assist from the receiver body. The carbine-length stainless steel gas tube and micro low-profile steel gas block at .750 complete the gas system, and the 12-inch ultra-lightweight minimalist freefloat M-LOK handguard in black with a partial Picatinny top rail covers the forend. An A2 GI Birdcage flash hider at 1-2x28 closes out the muzzle end. BCG and charging handle are not included.

The carbine-length stainless steel gas tube and micro low-profile steel gas block at .750 run a carbine-length gas system along the 14.5-inch barrel. The 12-inch ultra-lightweight minimalist freefloat M-LOK handguard in black surrounds the barrel and gas system along the forend with a partial Picatinny top rail running along the top of the handguard and M-LOK slots along the remaining handguard body for accessory attachment. The handguard does not include anti-rotation tabs, a design characteristic of this specific unit.

Muzzle Device

The A2 GI Birdcage flash hider threads onto the 1-2x28 muzzle end of the barrel. The included black steel crush washer seats at the barrel shoulder and completes the muzzle hardware for this kit.
