The Ion Upper Build Kit is built around a 4.5-inch 9mm barrel with a 6061 billet pistol caliber AR-15 upper receiver and a 4-inch free-float minimalist M-LOK handguard. BCG and charging handle are not included.

Barrel and Muzzle Device

The 4.5-inch barrel is machined from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel in a medium profile with a Nitride finish and a 1:10 twist suited to 9mm. The muzzle carries a 9mm flash can on 1/2x36 threads, secured with the included 1/2-inch black crush washer.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is a 6061 aluminum billet unit built for the pistol caliber AR-15 platform. It's paired with a 4-inch K-style, ultra-lightweight minimalist free-float M-LOK handguard, built without anti-rotation tabs for a slim profile along the short barrel.
