The Xiphos is a 9mm AR-9 Full Build Kit built around a compact 10.5-inch direct blowback platform. The kit centers on a 10.5-inch medium profile 4150 CrMoV steel barrel with a nitride finish, 1:10 twist rate, and 1/2x36 thread pitch, paired with a black 9mm A2 birdcage flash hider and a black crush washer. The Vertex Enhanced Pistol Caliber dedicated AR-9 billet aluminum anodized upper receiver features a full-length Picatinny top rail, paired with a 10-inch ultra-slim KeyMod freefloat handguard in black. A complete AR-9 nitride bolt carrier group in 8620 alloy steel with an external extractor compatible with Glock and Colt pattern magazines, and a Mil-Spec AR-15 M4 charging handle complete the upper side. The lower hardware includes a complete Mil-Spec AR-15 lower parts kit, a Mil-Spec heavy-duty 6-position aluminum carbine buffer tube, an AR-15 9mm carbine buffer, a standard AR-15 carbine recoil spring, an AR-15 M16 Mil-Spec end plate, and an AR-15 carbine castle nut.
