The upper receiver is a dedicated AR-9 7075-T6 aluminum design with an anodized black finish and an ejection port cover with door, rod, and spring, paired with a 15-inch Slant-Pro Series A freefloat M-LOK handguard in black featuring built-in QD sling mounts, anti-rotation tabs, oblong lightening cuts, a quad rail front section, and a full-length Picatinny top rail.
