The kit includes a KAK Industry AR-15 Lite lower parts kit with a Mil-Spec A2 grip in black, with the standard fire control group replaced by a Rare Breed FRT-15L3 flat trigger forced reset trigger and a 3-position ambidextrous safety selector. The Rare Breed FRT-15L3 flat trigger is a drop-in forced reset trigger constructed from 7075 anodized aluminum and heat-treated 4140 steel, featuring anti-walk trigger pins and a 3-position selector covering Safe, Semi, and Forced Reset. A full-auto compatible bolt carrier group is required for proper function and is not included. The ambidextrous bolt catch kit covers both-side bolt manipulation and release. The buffer system consists of a Mil-Spec heavy-duty 6-position carbine buffer tube and a Sound Mitigation Buffer H3 at 5.6 oz, which integrates the buffer and recoil spring function into a single self-contained unit. A US Tactical AR-15 M16 Mil-Spec phosphate receiver end plate and an AR-15 carbine castle nut complete the rear hardware. The receiver features a milled ambidextrous bolt catch slot that accommodates the included ambidextrous bolt catch kit. The ambidextrous bolt catch kit provides right and left side bolt manipulation and release, addressing both the awkward cross-body bolt catch access for right-handed shooters and the lack of strong-hand access for left-handed shooters that a standard single-side bolt catch presents.

Rare Breed FRT-15L3 Flat Trigger

The Rare Breed FRT-15L3 flat trigger is a drop-in forced reset trigger with a flat trigger face rather than the curved profile of the standard FRT-15L3. The flat trigger is constructed from 7075 anodized aluminum and heat-treated 4140 steel, featuring anti-walk trigger pins and a 3-position selector covering Safe, Semi, and Forced Reset. The forced reset system mechanically resets the trigger after each shot. The 3-position ambidextrous safety selector provides equal selector access from both sides of the lower receiver.
