The buffer system consists of a heavy-duty 6-position aluminum carbine buffer tube in black, a 5.5 oz 9mm carbine buffer with an aluminum body and internal steel weights, a standard spring steel carbine recoil spring, a Mil-Spec metal receiver end plate, and a notched phosphate steel castle nut.
