The Davidson Defense Apiar 8.5-inch Pistol Upper Build Kit is engineered for .300 Blackout enthusiasts desiring a compact AR-15 setup. Featuring an 8.5-inch heavy barrel with a 1:9 twist rate and a pistol gas system, this upper is suitable for tight quarters and versatile shooting applications. The barrel is crafted from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium, finished in phosphate, and includes a 5/8x24 thread pitch for compatibility with various muzzle devices.


The upper receiver is constructed from 7075 T6 aluminum, anodized for durability, and supports M4 feed ramps for reliable cycling. The included 7-inch Airlite Series freefloat M-Lok handguard, made from 6061-T6 aluminum, ensures weight savings without sacrificing performance. The kit also comes with a micro low-profile gas block, maintaining a clean aesthetic and improving overall handling. Ideal for gunsmiths who appreciate and versatility in firearm builds.
