The AR-15 AR-9 Pistol Brace Kit is a buffer system and brace bundle for standard AR-15 and AR-9 mil-spec pattern lower receivers. The kit includes an FDE SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable pistol stabilizing brace, a Davidson Defense carbine buffer tube in 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized exterior and internal dry film coating, a 5.5 oz 9mm carbine buffer, a carbine recoil spring, a mil-spec steel receiver end plate, and a standard AR-15 carbine castle nut. The lower receiver is not included.

SB Tactical SBA3 Brace

The SB Tactical SBA3 is an adjustable pistol stabilizing brace in FDE finish included with this kit. It is compatible with mil-spec diameter buffer tubes and offers an adjustable fit across multiple positions. The SBA3 pairs directly with the Davidson Defense mil-spec carbine buffer tube included in this bundle.

Davidson Defense Buffer Tube and Buffer System Components

The Davidson Defense carbine buffer tube is 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized exterior and an internal dry film coating. The dry film coating reduces internal friction across the buffer tube channel. The tube uses standard AR-15 receiver extension threading and is compatible with mil-spec AR-15 and AR-9 lower receivers. The 5.5 oz 9mm carbine buffer is the core buffer component for AR-9 platform builds and pairs with the standard carbine recoil spring included in this kit. The mil-spec steel receiver end plate and standard carbine castle nut complete the rear hardware group for the lower receiver.
