Ballistic Advantage AR-15 Enhanced Assembled Upper Receiver
Upper Receivers mount and house the barrel, handguard, and gas system in a AR-15 or LR-308/AR-10. Mil-Spec upper receivers are made to 'Military Specification' and are meant to either match or exceed the miltary requirements imposed onto the design for its service rifles. Featuring a full length 1913 Picatinny rail section on the top for mounting Optics and Iron Sights a Brass Deflector and a Standard Forward Assist section.

About this Upper:
This upper AR-15 receiver features a standard 'Mil-Spec' design made out of Forged 7075-T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum. With a Standard rifle cartridge size ejection door.
Material:
7075-T6 Aluminum - 7075-T6 Aluminum is a high strength alloy metal with great ductility, toughness, and resistance against fatigue. 7075-T6 was standardized for use in Aerospace equipment and aircraft. The Suffix T6 is a temperament treatment to increase the overall toughness and strength of the Aluminum. 7075-T6 Aluminum was chosen for the AR-15 platform for its ease of manufacturing, lightweight properties, and strength.
Style:
Mil-Spec Enhanced - Mil-Spec Enhanced is a further modification of standardized Mil-Spec parts, this would mean that the specific part meets the essential technical requirements for the US Military, but has been modified for commercial use.
Finish:
Anodized - This upper receiver is anodized, this process increases the thickness and hardness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of the metal parts. This increases the corrosion and wear resistance of the Upper Receiver.
Caliber Compatability:
This upper receiver will work with standard rifle cartridges such as .223 Remington ,5.56 NATO, .300 Blackout, 6.5 Grendel, 7.62x39, 9mm Luger, and .350 Legend. This will also work with 9mm Pistol Caliber Carbines.
Top Section:
Flat Top Rail w/ T-Marks- This upper receiver features a full 1913 Picatinny rail for the additional Optics installation and Iron Sights, T-Marks will allow you to replace zeroed optics and have them retain zero by placing them in CNC marked rail sections. The T-Marks are painted in white.
Anti-Rotation Tab Compatability:
This upper receiver will allow the installation of handguards with anti-rotation tabs incorporated into their design.
