About this Conversion Kit: This product is a magazine insert that converts your Gen 2 or Gen 3 5.56/.223 PMAG housing into a 9mm magazine to use with a standard AR lower and 9mm upper of your choosing with a Glock or Colt variant 9mm BCG.
Type: Magazine Conversion - Replace the internals of your standard PMAG with the conversion kit and feed 9mm rounds with ease!
Install: Disconnect the baseplate from your PMAG and remove the spring and follower inside, install the Endomag conversion kit into the magazine body and reinstall the baseplate.

General Barrel Info: The barrel on a 9mm AR-15 barrel operates under 'direct blowback' there is no gas system directly connected to a 9mm AR-15 barrel for the system to cycle. By design 9mm AR-15 barrels are affordable and come in many sizes, rifle, and pistol. This includes many of the familiar barrel profiles found on standard/common AR-15 platforms. Building an AR-15 chambered in 9mm is a great choice for training, or for your next Pistol Caliber Carbine build.
About This Barrel: The Barrel is made by ODIN Works it is 5" long, and is machined from 416R Stainless Steel and finished in a Nitride appearance. Chambered for 9mm Luger, using a Medium profile design, this barrel will be a perfect choice for your next AR-15.
About the Profile: Medium - Medium Profile barrels are designed to have an even weight distributed from the beginning to the end of the barrel, this results in a rather tubular looking appearance but with identical rigidity and properties to a government profile barrel.

Length: This Barrel is designated as a Pistol length barrel with an overall length of 5".
Caliber: 9mm - This barrel is chambered in 9mm, perfect for light recoiling pistol caliber carbines or rifles. 9mm is the most popular pistol cartridge in North America.
Material: 416R SS - 416R is a hardenable chromium stainless steel particularly suited for use in high-quality precision rifle barrels. This grade has good machinability and, because of closely controlled chemistry and processing techniques, machined and lapped to a high finish, which is important for bore accuracy.
Finish: Stainless - Stainless steel finishes come in high-luster finishes similar to nickel plating, but with the added benefit of increased strength and corrosion resistance. Stainless steel finishes do not experience the same wear that other metals may experience such as peeling, flaking, wear and rust from scratches where the oxidation protection layer may be removed.
Thread Pitch: 1/2x28 - This threading is commonly found on barrels chambered in 5.56, .223, and .224. This will allow the installation of most muzzle devices such as flash hiders, blast cans, and compensators threaded to 1/2x28 threads.
