The Davidson Defense Blackreach is an AR-9 upper build kit chambered in 9mm with a 6-inch medium profile barrel. The kit includes the upper receiver, barrel, handguard, and GI birdcage flash hider. The 4.2-inch tubular M-Lok handguard gives the forend a slim, compact profile with suppressor-ready clearance. A BCG and charging handle are not included.

Barrel and Upper Receiver

The 6-inch medium profile barrel is 4150 CrMoV steel with a nitride finish and a 1:10 twist rate. The muzzle is threaded at 1-in-2x28 and pairs with the included GI birdcage flash hider. The upper receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with M4 feed ramps and an anodized finish, serving as the core front end structure for the AR-9 build. M4 feed ramps support reliable cartridge feeding from the magazine into the chamber.

Handguard

The 4.2-inch tubular slim profile M-Lok handguard is aluminum in black with a suppressor-ready bore clearance. The slim tubular profile keeps the forend lightweight and compact, and the M-Lok slots along the handguard provide attachment points for lights, grips, and other accessories. The handguard length is shorter than the 6-inch barrel, and the muzzle device extends beyond the handguard to provide the necessary clearance.
