Guard Dog Body Armor 'Dane' Plate Carrier - Multicam
The Dane plate carrier is one of the big dogs! This vest is made from an extremely durable 600D oxford material that can securely hold all of Guard Dog’s ballistic plates (including 11”x14”).
The Dane’s quick-release shoulder and waist quick release systems make removal fast and easy. An adjustable elastic waistband provides improved comfort and mobility.
Added features include a front pouch for small items and maps, a double layer triple mag pouch capable of holding three rifle and three pistol magazines, and finished with a medical pouch low back. All accessories are removable and adjustable.
The laser Molle system allows for additional attachments with plug-in loading.
A sturdy drag handle is included to easily carry the loaded vest or for emergencies.
The Dane’s adjustable shoulder straps and waistband allow a one size fits most from small to 2XL.

Hard Armor panels are great for increased protection, used by modern militaries, police, and civilians, hard armor plates comprised of Ceramic, Steel, Titanium, and other Composite armors panels are used widely in modern shell vests, plate carriers, and bags. Not all hard panels have a spall liner, but in the case of impact from a projectile, a spall liner is designed to catch or deflect the jacket from the projectile on impact. This in turn reduces the possibility of shrapnel injuries. Hard Armor panels typically made with ceramics are lighter weight, and plates made from steel are heavier. The trade-off between mobility and protection is worth it!

Plate Size: 10"x12" - This an average size plate for medium-sized torsos.
Material: Composite - Constructed of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) creating a light weight ballistic plate.
Spall Liner: Spall Liners are an addition to a plate of armor and come in a few different forms, this is either a lip at the end of the plate or a hard rubber coating designed to grab and decelerate the jacket of a projectile as it disintegrates.
Plate Cut: Shooter's Cut - Shooters Cut plates are cut to accommodate a plate carrier for both left and right-handed shooters, allowing you the upper body flexibility that you will need when out in the field.

About this Magazine: Magpul has designed an affordable and reliable magazine known as the PMAG or Polymer-Mag. Designed from the ground up to be STANAG compliant, the PMAG was crafted using a polymer as the base for the body, reducing the weight of the magazine and still having the strength and durability on par with steel or aluminum magazines.
