The barrel is a 16-inch M4 contour unit in 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a phosphate finish. It is chambered in .223 Wylde with a 1:8 twist rate and a 1/2x28 thread pitch. The carbine gas system runs through a micro low-profile 0.75 gas block, and a GI Birdcage flash hider at 1/2x28 is included at the muzzle.

Upper Receiver and Handguard
