Davidson Defense 9mm 6061 Billet Upper Receiver

Upper Receivers mount and house the barrel, handguard, and gas system in an AR-15 or LR-308/AR-10. Custom upper receivers vary from Side Chargers, and Skeletonized uppers, to Rigidity Reinforced or 'Lite' receivers, where certain features such as the forward assist and brass deflector are removed to streamline the design. This also applies to most Pistol Caliber Carbine upper receivers with special ejection door cuts made specifically for 9mm or .45ACP.

About this Upper: This is a Davidson Defense "Vertex" Pistol Caliber AR-15 Billet Upper Receiver. The Vertex Upper Is Machined Out Of A Single Block Of Billet Aluminum To Create Its Intricate Lines And Angles And Finished With A Hard Coat of Black Anodization. This Was Done To Save Weight As Well as Improve Functionality And Reliability By Focusing On A Simple Design That Has Fewer Moving Parts And Therefore Fewer Parts That Can Break, All The While Not Compromising On Strength And Durability. This Upper Will Fit On A Traditional Mil-spec Lower Receiver Or A Pistol Caliber Specific Lower Receiver.

Material: Billet 7075-T6 Aluminum - 7075-T6 Aluminum is a high-strength alloy metal with great ductility, toughness, and resistance against fatigue. 7075-T6 was standardized for use in Aerospace equipment and aircraft. The Suffix T6 is a temperament treatment to increase the overall toughness and strength of the Aluminum. 7075-T6 Aluminum was chosen for the AR-15 platform for its ease of manufacturing, lightweight properties, and strength.

Style: The Vertex Upper Was Designed To Be Used With Pistol Calibers Specifically And As A Result Doesn't Have A Dust Door Or Forward Assist.

Finish: Anodized - This upper receiver is anodized, this process increases the thickness and hardness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of the metal parts. This increases the corrosion and wears resistance of the Upper Receiver.

Caliber compatibility: The ejection port door on this upper receiver is made for .45ACP but will also allow 9mm, and .40 SW to function.

Top Section: Flat Top Rail - This upper receiver features a full 1913 Picatinny rail for the additional Optics installation and Iron Sight installation.

Anti-Rotation Tab compatibility: This upper receiver will NOT allow the installation of handguards with anti-rotation tabs incorporated into their design.

"Holy" Ambidextrous AR-15 Charging Handle

The Charging Handle on the AR-15 is a simple latching design that indexes with the gas key on your bolt carrier group, this allows you to charge your rifle, and eject and feed rounds manually.

About this Charging Handle: This AR-15 charging handle assembly for AR-15-style rifles is built with aluminum construction and a black nitride finish. It features latches on both sides for use with either hand.

Fits all AR-15 platform guns by DMPS, Mega, Aero precision, CMMG, and most other companies.

Ambidextrous: This AR-15 charging handle can be manipulated from both sides, improving ergonomics for both left and right-handed shooters.

Latch Style: Extended Latch - Extended Latch Charging handles allow the user more surface area to grip and engage with the charging handle. While this extended just a bit further out from the upper receiver, extended latches are great for users with gloves or those who want just a bit more leverage.

Platform: This charging handle is designed for the AR-15 platform. This will not work on the LR-308 platform.
