This Davidson Defense Lightshow complete upper includes a 5-inch 9MM BC-9 slim-profile barrel, a 4-inch Air Lite Series Honeycomb M-Lok freefloat handguard with monolithic top rail in midnight bronze aluminum, a 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver with M4 feed ramps, a 9MM nitride bolt carrier group compatible with Glock and Colt magazines, an AR-15 M4 mil-spec anodized aluminum charging handle, and a 9MM A2 birdcage flash hider. This is a blowback-operated platform. The handguard extends past the barrel and the flash hider provides the length needed to clear the handguard.

Barrel and Handguard

The 5-inch BC-9 barrel is constructed from 4150 CrMoV steel in a slim profile with a phosphate finish and a 1-in-10 twist rate. The thread pitch is 1-in-2x36, corresponding to the included 9MM A2 birdcage flash hider with a manganese phosphate finish. The 4-inch Air Lite Series Honeycomb M-Lok freefloat handguard features a monolithic top rail and is made from aluminum in midnight bronze. The handguard extends past the barrel and the flash hider provides the length needed to clear the handguard. This upper is blowback-operated and does not use a traditional gas system.

Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier Group

The upper receiver is constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum with M4 feed ramps and an anodized finish. The 9MM bolt carrier group is made from 8620 alloy steel with a nitride finish and features an external extractor compatible with both Glock and Colt magazines.
