The Lightshow Anodized Grey Full Build Kit from Davidson Defense is a 9mm AR-9 pistol configuration built around a 4.5-inch medium-profile barrel. Barrel and Upper Receiver

The barrel runs 4.5 inches in 9mm with a 1-in-10 twist rate, medium profile, and 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium construction with a nitride finish. The upper receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with an anodized finish and M4 feed ramps. Thread pitch is 1-in-2x36, and the kit includes a 9mm A2 Birdcage flash hider in phosphate finish.

Handguard

The 4-inch Honeycomb freefloat M-Lok handguard is 6061-T6 aluminum with a grey anodized finish, carrying the Lightshow build aesthetic across the upper assembly. The freefloat profile provides a clean forend with M-Lok interface for accessory placement along the rail.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

The included 9mm bolt carrier group is 8620 alloy steel with a nitride finish. The bolt carrier group is compatible with Glock and Colt magazines and features an external extractor. A Mil-Spec M4 charging handle completes the upper component set.

SB Tactical SBA3 Pistol Stabilizing Brace

The kit includes the SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable pistol stabilizing brace in black. The SBA3 pairs with the included Mil-Spec heavy-duty 6-position buffer tube and provides the rear interface for this pistol configuration.

Buffer System and Lower Components

The kit includes a Mil-Spec heavy-duty 6-position buffer tube, a 5.5 oz 9mm carbine buffer, a standard recoil spring, a receiver end plate, and a castle nut. A lower parts kit covers the internal lower receiver components required for lower completion. These components cover the full lower completion hardware outside the serialized receiver itself.
