The Davidson Defense Lightshow is an AR-9 upper build kit chambered in 9mm with a 4.5-inch medium profile ELD Performance barrel. The Guntec honeycomb M-Lok handguard in anodized purple gives the forend a distinctive finish with a clean, accessory-ready profile. A BCG and charging handle are not included.

The Davidson Defense stripped upper receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with an anodized finish, serving as the core front end structure for the AR-9 build. The 9mm configuration requires a 9mm bolt carrier group, which is not included with this upper build kit.

Handguard

The Guntec 4-inch honeycomb freefloat M-Lok handguard is aircraft-grade aluminum with a Type II hard coat anodized purple finish, keeping the forend lightweight and compact. The honeycomb pattern reduces weight across the handguard body while the M-Lok slots provide attachment points for lights, grips, and other accessories. The handguard length is shorter than the 4.5-inch barrel, and the muzzle device extends beyond the handguard to provide the necessary clearance.
