Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded Upper Receiver - Stripped Cerakote FDE - BLEM

Upper receivers mount and house the barrel, handguard, and gas system in an AR-15 or LR-308/AR-10. Mil-Spec upper receivers are made to "military specification" which means they either match or exceed the military requirements imposed on the design. This receiver features a full-length 1913 Picatinny rail section on the top for mounting optics and iron sights a brass deflector and a standard forward assist section.

Brand: Aero Precision’s roots are deeply tied to aerospace, and their drive for clean, perfect engineering and machining stems from that. When you’re building something that will fly in the air, there is no margin for error. Aero Precision takes that same approach in the firearms industry. Not every manufacturer will have razor-thin tolerance levels. Not every manufacturer will personally oversee the development, design, and machining of every part that comes off the line. About this Upper: The M4E1 Threaded Upper Receiver features a new angular machined design that helps it stand apart from standard mil-spec upper receivers. This upper receiver features the same enhanced body profile as our M4E1 Enhanced Upper Receiver but is threaded to accept a standard AR15 barrel nut. It is forged from 7075-T6 Aluminum and precision machined to work with all mil-spec AR-15 parts.

Material: 7075-T6 Aluminum - 7075-T6 Aluminum is a high-strength alloy metal with great ductility, toughness, and resistance against fatigue. 7075-T6 was standardized for use in Aerospace equipment and aircraft. The Suffix T6 is a temperament treatment to increase the overall toughness and strength of the Aluminum. 7075-T6 Aluminum was chosen for the AR-15 platform for its ease of manufacturing, lightweight properties, and strength.

Style: Mil-Spec is the standard for the United States Military for reliability, commonality, reduced cost, and meeting the requirements of a service rifle. 'Mil-Spec' is the key technical requirement for military-unique materiel or substantially modified commercial items.

Finish: Cerakote - Cerakoted firearms parts are finished in a 'ceramic' coating that increases the resistance against parts wear and increase abrasion and corrosion resistance, the resulting product has incredible durability and hardness on top of the original metal.

Caliber Compatibility: This upper receiver will work with standard rifle cartridges such as .223 Remington,5.56 NATO, .300 Blackout, 6.5 Grendel, 7.62x39, 9mm Luger, and .350 Legend. This will also work with 9mm Pistol Caliber Carbines.

Top Section: Flat Top Rail - This upper receiver features a full 1913 Picatinny rail for the additional Optics installation and Iron Sight installation.

Anti-Rotation Tab Compatibility: This upper receiver will allow the installation of handguards with anti-rotation tabs incorporated into their design.
