The Davidson Defense Aegis in .223 is a 7.5-inch AR-15 pistol full build kit, optimized for gunsmiths who appreciate precision and reliability. This kit features the "Spriggan" 7.5" pistol barrel with a 1:7 twist and is constructed from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel, finished with a durable Nitride treatment for enhanced longevity. The M4 profile barrel is designed for a pistol gas system, complemented by a 0.75-inch low-profile gas block by Recoil Technologies. The stripped upper receiver is made from 7075-T6 aluminum and anodized for added strength. Included are mil-spec components such as the AR-15 M4 charging handle, an adjustable SB Tactical SBA3 pistol brace, and a heavy-duty 6-position buffer tube kit. The kit also includes a complete bolt carrier group, made from 8620 alloy steel and finished in Nitride. The total weight of the build comes to 72.56 ounces, ensuring a robust performance in the field.
