Barrel and Handguard

The 16-inch barrel is constructed from 4150 CrMoV steel in a government profile with a phosphate finish and a 1-in-8 twist rate. The thread pitch is 5-in-8x24, corresponding to the included GI birdcage flash hider. The carbine-length gas system pairs with a 0.750 micro low-profile gas block positioned beneath the handguard. The freefloat M-Lok handguard is made from 6061-T6 aluminum in black and keeps the handguard clear of the barrel along its full length.

Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier Group

The upper receiver is made from 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a Type III hard coat anodized finish. The 6.5 Grendel bolt carrier group is made from 9310 alloy steel with a nitride finish. The included AR-15 mil-spec charging handle pairs directly with the upper receiver and bolt carrier group.

Gauntlet Arms Stock and Lower Components

The Gauntlet Arms special operations stock is constructed from black glass-filled polymer with an adjustable length and a rubberized butt pad. It pairs with the included mil-spec heavy-duty 6-position buffer tube and 3 oz buffer. This kit includes a lower parts kit, recoil spring, end plate, and castle nut, providing the components needed to complete a stripped lower receiver. The lower receiver itself is not included.
