The Black Diamond Series AR-15 Billet Upper Receiver is made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish. It pairs with a black aluminum free float M-LOK handguard. The handguard provides the front end forend structure of the upper with M-LOK accessory space. Together, the receiver and handguard set the foundation of this upper build kit.

The barrel is a 7.5 inch 416R stainless steel barrel in 5.56x45mm NATO with a polished stainless finish. It uses a government profile and a 1 in 7 twist rate. The barrel runs a pistol length gas system and has a .750 gas block journal. The muzzle uses a half inch x 28 thread pitch.

Gas Block and A2 Flash Hider

The kit includes a micro low-profile steel gas block sized for .750 barrels. Its compact shape suits the free float M-LOK handguard. An A2 GI birdcage flash hider threaded half inch x 28 is also included. These parts cover the front end hardware for the barrel.
