The Roughneck 12.5-inch Carbine-Gas 1:8 6.5 Grendel AR-15 Complete Upper is engineered for precision and reliability. It features a 12.5-inch barrel made from 4150 CrMoV steel with a medium profile and a 1:8 twist rate, optimized for the 6.5 Grendel cartridge. The carbine gas system enhances cycling efficiency, while a micro low-profile gas block (0.750 size) ensures a seamless fit.


A "Pershing" steel flash can muzzle device with a 5/8x24 thread pitch minimizes flash and directs gas away. The upper is equipped with a durable M-Lok handguard crafted from 6061-T6 aluminum, providing versatility and stability for mounting accessories. Complementing this is the Davidson Defense "Panhead" billet upper receiver and a robust AR-15 6.5 Grendel II bolt carrier group made from 9310 alloy steel with a QPQ nitride finish. This complete upper is ideal for gunsmiths seeking quality and performance on their AR-15 platform.
