The Thermosphere 18-inch Rifle-Gas 1:7.5 6MM ARC AR-15 Freefloat M-Lok Handguard Rifle Upper Build Kit from Davidson Defense is engineered for precision shooting and compatibility. This build kit features an 18-inch 6mm ARC barrel, constructed from durable 4150 CrMoV steel with a Nitride finish, ensuring longevity and performance. The barrel has a government profile, 1:7.5 twist rate, and a .750" gas block journal, allowing for reliable gas operation with a rifle-length gas system.

Included is a micro low-profile gas block and a GI Birdcage flash hider with a 5/8x24 thread pitch. The upper receiver is a Black Diamond Series AR-15 Slick Side, crafted from USA-made 6061-T6 billet aluminum, finished with Type III hard coat anodizing for resilience. The 15-inch M-LOK free-float handguard, also made of 6061-T6 aluminum, provides ample rail space for accessories while maintaining a lightweight profile, making it ideal for serious shooters.
