This is a left-handed AR-15 upper build kit chambered in 5.56 NATO, built around an 8.5-inch M4 contour steel barrel with a 1-7 twist rate and a pistol-length gas system. The Black Diamond Series left-handed slick side billet aluminum upper receiver with a black anodized finish anchors the front end with a left-hand ejection port and a clean slick side exterior that omits the forward assist and dust cover from the receiver body. The pistol-length gas tube and micro low-profile steel gas block at .750 O.D. complete the gas system, and the 7-inch freefloat smooth handguard covers the compact forend. An A2 GI Birdcage flash hider at 1-2x28 closes out the muzzle end. BCG and charging handle are not included.

The pistol-length gas tube and micro low-profile steel gas block at .750 O.D. run a pistol-length gas system along the 8.5-inch barrel. The 7-inch freefloat smooth handguard surrounds the barrel and gas system along the compact forend with a smooth exterior profile that omits slots or rail sections for a clean uninterrupted handguard surface.

Muzzle Device

The A2 GI Birdcage flash hider threads onto the 1-2x28 muzzle end of the barrel. The included black 1-2-inch crush washer seats at the barrel shoulder and completes the muzzle hardware for this kit.
