The Backdrop AR-9 Pistol Upper Build Kit pairs the Vertex Enhanced Pistol-Caliber AR-15 Billet Upper Receiver with the BC-9 5 inch PCC barrel in 9mm and a 4.2 inch suppressor-ready tubular M-LOK handguard. The Vertex upper receiver is black with an integrated Picatinny rail. The BC-9 barrel has a parkerized finish, a slim profile, a 1 in 10 twist rate, and a half inch x 36 thread pitch, and the upper uses a direct blowback system. A KAK Industry 9mm mini compensator and a black crush washer round out the muzzle end, and BCG and charging handle are not included.

Vertex Pistol Caliber Upper Receiver

The Vertex Enhanced Pistol-Caliber AR-15 Billet Upper Receiver is made for pistol caliber AR builds. It comes in black with an integrated Picatinny top rail. The Vertex name identifies this upper receiver within the Backdrop kit. It is the foundation of the upper side of the build.

BC-9 5 Inch PCC Barrel

The BC-9 is a 5 inch 9mm PCC barrel with a parkerized finish. It uses a slim profile and a 1 in 10 twist rate. The muzzle uses a half inch x 36 thread pitch, a common thread for 9mm AR barrels. The 5 inch length keeps the build extremely compact.

Suppressor-Ready Tubular Handguard and KAK Industry Mini Comp

The handguard is a 4.2 inch tubular aluminum free float design with M-LOK slots in black. It is suppressor ready with a 1.77 inch internal diameter. A KAK Industry 9mm mini compensator threaded half inch x 36 is included along with a half inch black crush washer. These parts cover the front end and muzzle hardware of the kit.
