The Statesman AR-10 Complete Upper is a fully equipped upper assembly built around a Bear Creek 12.5 inch 4150 CMV barrel with a Parkerized finish, SOCOM profile, and a 1:10 twist rate for .308 Winchester. The upper receiver is a DPMS low profile billet design finished in Type III hardcoat anodized black, paired with a 12 inch Guntec ultra lightweight thin M-LOK handguard featuring a monolithic Picatinny top rail. This upper includes a complete bolt carrier group and charging handle, giving builders the front end and cycling components needed for the upper side of an AR-10 pistol build.

Barrel and Gas System

This upper uses a 12.5 inch barrel made from 4150 CMV with a Parkerized finish and a SOCOM profile, manufactured by Bear Creek. The 1:10 twist rate is suited to a wide range of .308 Winchester bullet weights, and the 5/8x24 thread pitch matches the included steel flash can muzzle device, finished in black oxide and bore compatible up to .350 caliber. A pistol length gas tube runs to a 0.875 low profile adjustable gas block made from steel with a Melonite finish. The barrel and gas components make up the front end of this complete upper.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is a DPMS low profile billet design finished in Type III hardcoat anodized black. This upper does not include a forward assist, and the ejection port door is included as part of the receiver. The Guntec 12 inch ultra lightweight thin M-LOK handguard uses a low profile design along with a monolithic Picatinny top rail, surrounding the barrel without contacting it to give this upper a slim exterior forend built for a pistol length platform.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

The included bolt carrier group is a Recoil Technologies LR-308 unit finished in Nitride, compatible with .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .243 Winchester. An LR-308 aluminum charging handle completes the cycling components of this upper, rounding out the included hardware.
