The billet aluminum AR-15 pistol caliber upper receiver anchors the front end. The 4.2-inch freefloat M-LOK handguard in black 7075-T6 aluminum with an integrated hand stop covers the compact forend. This upper operates on a direct blowback system, meaning there is no gas tube or gas block present or required on this upper. The 4.2-inch freefloat M-LOK handguard in black 7075-T6 aluminum surrounds the barrel along the compact forend with M-LOK slots along the handguard surfaces for accessory attachment and an integrated hand stop built directly into the handguard body.
