The Silver Fang w/BTR Brace is a Full Build Kit built around a Bear Creek Arsenal "Gael" 7.5-inch 5.56 NATO barrel, machined from stainless steel, paired with a "Panhead" billet upper receiver machined in a NOFA configuration with a .458-size ejection port. It pairs a 7-inch MFFAR7 free-float smooth handguard with an AR-15 A2 GI birdcage flash hider at the muzzle, running on a pistol-length gas system. A complete bolt carrier group, Mil-Spec charging handle, complete Lower Parts Kit, carbine buffer-system components, and a Magpul BTR pistol brace round out the rest of the build. The lower receiver is not included, leaving the buyer to select and supply that component separately.

The "Gael" barrel runs 7.5 inches long, chambered in 5.56 NATO and machined from stainless steel, giving it strong corrosion resistance across years of use. It carries a 1:7 twist rate suited to stabilizing a wide range of 5.56/.223 bullet weights, along with a 1/2x28 muzzle thread. Gas cycles back to the action through a compact pistol-length system, running a pistol-length gas tube paired with a micro low-profile steel gas block sized to a .750-inch diameter, keeping the profile slim beneath the handguard.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is a "Panhead" billet unit, machined in a NOFA configuration that leaves the receiver's side profile smooth and uninterrupted without a forward assist boss. It features a .458-size ejection port with a standard .223/5.56 door, rod, and spring installed for reliable case ejection. Over the barrel sits a 7-inch MFFAR7 handguard, a smooth, free-float design that isolates the barrel from handguard pressure for consistent accuracy while keeping a clean, low-profile look along the forend.

Muzzle Device

Capping the muzzle is an AR-15 A2 GI birdcage flash hider, a proven, time-tested design that helps suppress muzzle flash during firing. It threads onto the barrel's 1/2x28 pattern and is locked into its final timed position with the included 1/2-inch black crush washer.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

A complete AR-15 bolt carrier group is included, made in the USA and listed for use across 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, .300 Blackout, and .350 Legend. Lower Parts Kit and Buffer System

A complete Mil-Spec AR-15 Lower Parts Kit covers the fire-control and lower-control internals needed once a lower receiver is on hand. Behind it sits a Mil-Spec heavy-duty six-position buffer tube, holding a standard AR-15 carbine buffer weighing 3 ounces and a standard USA-made recoil spring that work together to manage the reciprocating mass of the bolt carrier group during cycling. An AR-15 carbine castle nut and Mil-Spec AR-15/M16 receiver end plate secure the buffer tube assembly to the back of the lower.

Stabilizing Brace

Capping off the rear of the build is a Magpul BTR pistol brace, finished in black and compatible with a standard Mil-Spec AR-15 buffer tube, matching the buffer tube included with this kit.
