The Blackhill Upper Build Kit is built around a 20-inch 6.5 Creedmoor BC-10 barrel with a rifle-length gas system, an LR-308 billet upper receiver in the DPMS low profile pattern, and a Crest Series 19-inch M-LOK handguard. BCG and charging handle are not included.

Barrel and Gas System

The 20-inch BC-10 barrel is built in a heavy profile with straight fluting, a Parkerized finish, and a 1:8 twist suited to 6.5 Creedmoor. It runs a rifle-length gas system through a stainless steel gas tube and a low-profile AR-15/LR-308 gas block with a .936-inch diameter. The muzzle carries a .308 standoff muzzle brake rated for .30 caliber on 5/8x24 threads, secured with the included 5/8-inch black crush washer.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is an LR-308 billet unit built to the DPMS low profile pattern with a Type III hardcoat black anodized finish, and the ejection port cover ships assembled. The forward assist is not included on this upper. It's paired with a Crest Series 19-inch low-profile M-LOK handguard matched to the DPMS low profile pattern.
