Built around a mil-spec carbine buffer tube, it includes a 3-ounce M4 government carbine recoil buffer, a matching carbine recoil spring, a mil-spec receiver end plate, and a carbine castle nut. The lower receiver is not included.

Supplying them together means builders don't have to source and match individual small parts, which makes it a practical foundation for a new build or a full refresh of a worn lower.
Stock and Buffer System
The Adaptive Tactical EX Performance stock, model AT-02012-B, is an adjustable, collapsible stock in black, built to fit a mil-spec carbine receiver extension, so the length of pull can be set to suit the shooter. It is supported by a complete carbine-length buffer system: a mil-spec carbine buffer tube, a 3-ounce M4 government carbine buffer (model AS-BF3), a standard carbine recoil spring (model 00S), a mil-spec receiver end plate (model 00P), and a carbine castle nut (model AL-1053). Together, these components cover everything needed between the lower receiver and the stock.
