The Aegis Lightweight w/SBA3 Brace 8.5-inch Pistol in .300 Blackout is a precision-engineered full build kit from Davidson Defense, tailored for gunsmiths who value functionality and freedom. It features an 8.5-inch heavy-profile barrel made from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium with a 1:9 twist rate, finished in Parkerized for durability. The pistol gas system is optimized for efficiency, utilizing a micro low-profile gas block. The freefloat handguard, crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum and styled with M-Lok attachments, provides versatility in accessory mounting.

Constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum, the upper receiver is anodized for additional strength. The kit includes an AR-15 M4 charging handle, a complete bolt carrier group made from 9310 alloy steel with a nitride finish, and a 6-position mil-spec buffer tube with a 3 oz buffer weight. The SB Tactical SBA3 adjustable stabilizing brace offers improved control, while a steel flash can muzzle device enhances performance with a 5/8x24 thread pitch.
