Barrel and Gas System
The KAK Industry 11.5-inch barrel is chambered in .223 Wylde and constructed from 4140 CrMoV steel with a government profile and a 1:8 twist rate. The nitride finish covers the full barrel surface for corrosion and wear resistance. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 and includes a GI birdcage flash hider with a phosphate finish. The carbine-length gas system pairs with a micro low-profile gas block at .750 O.D., a separate component positioned beneath the handguard on the barrel.
Upper Receiver and Handguard
The upper receiver is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with an anodized finish and M4 feed ramp compatibility. The black aluminum tubular M-Lok handguard provides M-Lok slot access along its length for accessory mounting without contact with the barrel or gas system components.
