AR-9 Pistol Buffer Kit

This kit is a pistol buffer kit for the AR-9. Pistol length buffer kits are the rear hardware choice for AR pistol builds. The kit covers the buffer side of the lower in one purchase. Recoil Technologies offers it as a dedicated AR-9 option.

AR-9 Platform Compatibility

The Recoil Technologies AR-9 Pistol Buffer Kit is matched to the AR-9 platform. 9mm AR builds use different buffer parts than 5.56 NATO AR-15 builds. That makes a dedicated AR-9 kit the right match for a 9mm pistol. Owners of other AR calibers should look for the buffer kit that matches their platform.
