The Aegis w/Magpul BTR Brace 14.5-inch Carbine-Gas 5.56 NATO AR-15 Pistol Full Build Kit from Davidson Defense is designed for gunsmiths who value functional freedom. This AR-15 platform features a 14.5-inch 4150 CrMoV barrel with a 1:7 twist rate and a phosphate finish. The kit includes a 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver with an anodized finish, paired with a lightweight 12-inch M-LOK handguard made from 6061-T6 aluminum. A full-auto compatible 9310 alloy steel bolt carrier group, finished with a nitride treatment, ensures reliability. The Magpul BTR Pistol Brace, constructed from high-strength polymer and metal, offers stability and comfort. A heavy-duty pistol buffer tube and a 0.750 gas block complement the carbine-length gas system.
