The Noldor is a complete upper assembly built for 9mm AR-15 platforms with suppressor-ready capability. It combines a nitride-finished 4150 Chrome Moly barrel, billet aluminum receiver, and M-Lok handguard into a single integrated unit designed for reliability and durability in pistol caliber configurations.
This upper ships with suppressor-ready barrel threading, meaning the barrel is cut and threaded to accept a suppressor. The 16-inch barrel length paired with 9MM ammunition creates an ideal platform for suppressed shooting, reducing overall system noise while maintaining reliability. The nitride finish on both barrel and bolt carrier provides corrosion resistance and durability for extended suppressed use.
The Noldor upper uses a billet aluminum receiver machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, providing precision tolerances and a solid foundation for your 9MM platform. The Type III hard coat anodize finish protects against wear and corrosion. The M-Lok handguard allows for accessory mounting flexibility without adding unnecessary weight to the upper assembly.
The included 9MM nitride bolt carrier group is specifically designed for 9MM AR platforms and differs from standard 5.56 NATO bolt carriers. The nitride finish reduces friction and improves cycling reliability with 9MM ammunition. This bolt carrier is optimized for the pressure curve and recoil impulse of 9x19 rounds.
