Design Intent

This upper assembly is built around the 9mm AR platform, which uses a blowback operating system that cycles differently than standard 5.56 uppers. The 16-inch barrel length and H-Bar profile provide a balanced platform for 9mm ballistics while keeping overall length manageable. The billet upper receiver is precision-machined for durability, and the free-float handguard isolates the barrel from external pressure to improve shot consistency.

Component Compatibility

This upper is designed for AR-15 lower receivers configured for 9mm. The upper assembly includes the barrel, receiver, handguard, and muzzle device. You'll need to source a compatible lower receiver and lower parts kit separately. The 1/2x36 thread pitch matches standard 9mm suppressors and muzzle devices if you plan to add those later.

What You Need to Know

BCG and charging handle are not included. You'll need to source a 9mm-compatible bolt carrier group and charging handle separately to complete this upper. The free-float handguard improves accuracy by removing barrel contact pressure, and the nitride barrel finish provides excellent corrosion resistance for long-term reliability. The H-Bar profile keeps weight reasonable while maintaining rigidity.
