Upper Assembly

The front end of this kit is built on a 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver with an anodized finish, M4 feed ramps, a Mil-Spec forward assist, and an ejection port door assembly. The 11.5-inch government profile 4140 CrMoV barrel brings a nitride finish and 1-8 twist to the .223 Wylde chamber, threaded at 1-2x28 with a .750 inch gas journal. The carbine-length stainless steel gas tube and micro low-profile steel gas block at .750 inch keep the gas system tight and low along the barrel profile. The 10-inch Trinity Force KMX freefloat M-LOK handguard wraps the barrel and gas system, giving the front end a clean profile with M-LOK real estate for accessories along the forend.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

The complete AR-15 bolt carrier group is made in the USA and covers 5.56, .223, .300, and .350, making it a versatile and reliable choice for this platform. The M4 Mil-Spec charging handle pairs with the BCG to complete the upper interior. These two components finish the upper side and give the kit everything it needs above the lower receiver on the front end.

Lower Completion Components

The lower completion side of this kit is thorough. The complete Mil-Spec AR-15 lower parts kit covers the full internal lower component group, including the fire control group, magazine catch, bolt catch, and all associated pins and springs. The heavy duty AR-15 pistol buffer tube, standard carbine buffer at 3 oz., and standard carbine recoil spring made in the USA form a solid buffer system that pairs with the pistol platform. The Mil-Spec AR-15 M16 receiver end plate and Mil-Spec carbine castle nut lock the buffer tube down at the rear of the lower. The Gauntlet Arms black polymer stabilizing brace sits over the pistol buffer tube and finishes the rear end of the build cleanly.

Muzzle Device

The A2 GI Birdcage flash hider threads onto the 1-2x28 muzzle end of the barrel, finishing the front of the upper with a proven standard flash hider pattern. The included black 1-2-inch crush washer seats at the barrel shoulder and completes the muzzle hardware for this kit.
