The IX 16-Inch 9mm AR-9 Full Build Kit includes an upper assembly, bolt carrier group, charging handle, buffer tube, buffer, recoil spring, castle nut, end plate, lower parts kit, and Special Operations AR-15 stock. The 16-inch BC-9 barrel features 416R stainless steel construction with polished stainless steel finish and 1:10 twist rate. The upper assembly includes a 6061-T6 billet aluminum upper receiver with Type III hardcoat anodized finish, 15-inch free-float M-Lok handguard with full-length top Picatinny rail and QD mounts, and 9mm A2 birdcage flash hider. The 9mm nitride BCG constructed from 8620 alloy steel provides Glock and Colt magazine compatibility. Lower receiver not included.

9mm BCG with Glock and Colt Compatibility

The 9mm nitride bolt carrier group features 8620 alloy steel construction with nitride finish and external extractor design. The BCG provides compatibility with both Glock and Colt 9mm magazines, offering flexibility in magazine selection. The BCG operates through blowback action without requiring a gas system, providing reliable cycling with 9mm ammunition. M-Lok Handguard with Picatinny Rail and QD Mounts

The 15-inch free-float M-Lok handguard features M-Lok slots for accessory mounting along the sides and bottom, with full-length Picatinny rail on the top surface for optics and accessories. The handguard includes QD sling swivel mounting points for quick-detach sling attachment. The free-float design mounts to the upper receiver without barrel contact. The handguard extends to near-muzzle length on the 16-inch barrel configuration.

Special Operations Stock and Complete Components

The Special Operations AR-15 stock features glass-filled polymer construction and mounts to the included mil-spec heavy-duty 6-position buffer tube with adjustable length of pull. The buffer system includes a 5.5-ounce buffer designed for pistol caliber carbine applications. The full build kit includes all components necessary for a complete 9mm AR-9 rifle except the lower receiver, including upper assembly, BCG, charging handle, buffer system components, complete lower parts kit, and Special Operations stock.
