Barrel and Handguard

The 16-inch barrel is constructed from 4150 CrMoV steel in a government profile with a phosphate finish and a 1-in-8 twist rate. The thread pitch is 5-in-8x24, corresponding to the included GI birdcage flash hider. The carbine-length gas system pairs with a 0.750 steel micro low-profile gas block positioned beneath the handguard. The 15-inch freefloat M-Lok handguard is made from 6061-T6 aluminum in black and keeps the handguard clear of the barrel along its full length.

Upper Receiver

The Black Diamond Series slick side billet upper receiver is made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard coat anodized finish. It pairs with the barrel and handguard included in this kit. A BCG and charging handle are not included with this upper build kit and must be sourced separately.
