Barrel and Gas System

The 11.5-inch barrel from KAK Industry is machined from 4140 chrome moly vanadium gun steel in a government profile and finished in Nitride. Nitride is a surface treatment that adds hardness and corrosion resistance while leaving a clean, matte black look. Its 1:8 twist rate and .223 Wylde chamber make it suited to a wide range of bullet weights. The barrel runs a carbine-length gas system through a micro low-profile steel gas block sized for the .750-inch barrel diameter, and 1/2x28 muzzle threads carry the included AR-15 TPI GI birdcage flash hider, finished in Manganese Phosphate.

Upper Receiver and Handguard

The upper receiver is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in anodizing, giving it a hard, wear-resistant surface that holds up to regular handling. It is paired with a 10-inch black free-float M-LOK extended quad rail handguard. As a free-float design, it leaves the barrel free of handguard contact, while the extended quad rail layout and M-LOK slots give the builder plenty of room to mount optics, lights, grips, and other accessories.

Compatibility

This kit is built for AR-15 lower receivers and .223 Wylde builds. Gas tube details, feed ramp style, ejection port door and forward assist configuration, and crush washer inclusion were not supplied with this listing and should be confirmed before purchase. Because the BCG and charging handle are not included, they must be sourced separately to complete the upper.
