Free-Floating Barrel Design

The Air Lite Series handguard uses a free-floating design that isolates the barrel from handguard contact. This twist rate performs well with heavier match-grade ammunition commonly used in precision shooting. Lighter ammunition under 55 grains may experience marginal stability with this twist configuration.

Carbine-Length Gas System

The carbine-length gas tube cycles the bolt carrier group using propellant gases diverted from the barrel. The micro low-profile gas block sits low on the barrel to maintain a clean sight picture. This configuration supports rapid follow-up shots while maintaining reliable cycling across standard 223 Wylde ammunition loads. The 0.750-inch gas journal diameter matches standard AR-15 bolt carrier groups.

Upper Assembly Configuration
