The 10.5-inch Needle M4 contour stainless steel barrel brings a 1-7 twist rate to the 5.56 NATO chamber, threaded at 1-2x28. The Needle M4 contour profile gives the barrel a tapered and lightweight exterior shape distinct from standard government or HBAR contours. The carbine-length stainless steel gas tube and micro low-profile steel gas block at .750 run a carbine-length gas system along the 10.5-inch barrel. The Trinity Force KMX 12-inch KeyMod freefloat handguard in black surrounds the barrel and gas system along the forend with KeyMod slots along the handguard body for accessory attachment across the full 12-inch length.

Muzzle Device

The Walker steel flash can and muzzle brake in black oxide threads onto the 1-2x28 muzzle end of the barrel and closes out the front of this pistol-length upper with a combined flash can and muzzle brake profile.
