The Davidson Defense M4 lower receiver is a stripped, forged AR-15 lower built from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in black Type III hardcoat anodizing. Made in the USA to the standard AR-15 mil-spec pattern, it features a low shelf M16 cut trigger pocket and minimal, no-logo exterior markings for a clean look. Safe and fire markings appear on both sides of the receiver, and the serial number and legal markings are located on the front of the receiver. This item is a stripped lower receiver, a serialized firearm component that requires FFL transfer. Internal components are not included.

Construction and Design
The receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum, a strong, lightweight alloy widely used for AR-15 receivers because it balances durability with low weight. Forging aligns the grain structure of the metal, and the Type III hardcoat anodized finish adds a hard, wear-resistant black surface that protects against scratches, wear, and corrosion. The low shelf M16 cut trigger pocket follows a common configuration. Safe and fire markings are present on both sides of the receiver, so the selector positions can be read from either side, and the serial number and legal markings are placed on the front of the receiver. Apart from those required markings, the exterior stays free of logos, which keeps the look clean and understated for builders who prefer it. Because it follows the standard mil-spec pattern and uses the standard receiver extension interface, it is intended to accept standard AR-15 lower parts and upper receivers.
Compatibility
This lower receiver is compatible with standard AR-15 upper receivers and standard AR-15 lower receiver components. It is sold stripped, so the lower parts kit, buffer system, grip, and stock must be sourced separately to complete the build.
