The Davidson Defense Trail Man is a 5.56 NATO AR-15 Full Build Kit configured for the SBR Ready designation. The kit centers on a Needle 10.5-inch M4 contour barrel in stainless steel with a 1:7 twist rate and 1/2x28 thread pitch, paired with a USA-made Crown muzzle brake in nitride finish and a crush washer. A micro low-profile gas block at 0.750 diameter and a carbine-length stainless steel gas tube are included on the front end. The upper receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish, M4 feed ramps, an AR-15 ejection port door assembly, and a forward assist assembly, paired with a 10-inch ACE-20 Series freefloat M-LOK handguard with a full-length top Picatinny rail and lightweight profile. A complete AR-15 bolt carrier group compatible with 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, .300 Blackout, and .350 Legend, made in the USA, and a Mil-Spec AR-15 M4 charging handle complete the upper side. The lower hardware includes a complete Mil-Spec AR-15 lower parts kit, a Mil-Spec heavy-duty 6-position buffer tube, a standard 3 oz carbine buffer, a standard AR-15 carbine recoil spring, an AR-15 M16 Mil-Spec receiver end plate, and an AR-15 carbine castle nut. The Needle barrel is 10.5 inches, chambered in 5.56 NATO, and constructed from stainless steel with an M4 contour profile. The twist rate is 1:7 and the thread pitch is 1/2x28, which matches the included USA-made Crown muzzle brake in nitride finish. A crush washer, a micro low-profile gas block at 0.750 diameter, and a carbine-length stainless steel gas tube cover the front end gas configuration on this carbine-length platform.

Upper Receiver and ACE-20 Handguard

The upper receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish, M4 feed ramps, an AR-15 ejection port door assembly, and a forward assist assembly. The 10-inch ACE-20 Series freefloat M-LOK handguard features a full-length top Picatinny rail and M-LOK attachment slots along the body in a lightweight profile. These two components define the exterior structure of the upper assembly on this AR-15 platform.

Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle

The complete AR-15 bolt carrier group is compatible with 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, .300 Blackout, and .350 Legend, and is made in the USA. A Mil-Spec AR-15 M4 charging handle is included to complete the upper component set.

SBR Ready Configuration

This kit ships without a brace and is intended for customers selecting their own final rear configuration. The buffer tube, buffer, recoil spring, end plate, and castle nut are included as part of the rear hardware, with the brace selection remaining with the buyer.
