Ambidextrous Control Layout

The ambi bolt catch is milled directly into the lower receiver, giving you paddle controls on both sides without adding bulk or requiring additional parts. The FRT-15L3 trigger works with the 3-position selector to give you safe, semi-auto, and forced reset modes. All controls are positioned for natural left and right hand operation.

Forced Reset Trigger Performance

The FRT-15L3 uses forced reset technology to cycle the trigger automatically after each shot fires. This eliminates manual reset and lets you achieve faster follow-up shots than a standard semi-auto trigger. The trigger remains fully compliant with federal semi-automatic classification because each round still requires a separate trigger pull.

Davidson Defense Quality and Finish

The 7075-T6 aluminum construction provides durability and a solid platform for your build. Type III hard coat anodizing creates a protective layer that resists wear and corrosion. The engraved Davidson Defense logo marks this as a quality component built to last through years of shooting.

Upper Assembly Compatibility

This lower receiver accepts any standard AR-15 upper assembly. The MIL-SPEC dimensions ensure reliable fitment with quality uppers from any manufacturer. Bolt carrier group and charging handle are not included with this lower receiver.

Follow safe handling and manufacturer instructions. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Verify that the FRT-15L3 trigger remains legal in your jurisdiction as regulations can change.
